Filings with the Bureau of Indian Affairs

Submissions for the BIA "scoping" process were due February 22, 2016. The BIA has indicated that there will be at least two more public-comment periods in the coming months.

DCTAC's initial submissions were the following:

Objections: our concerns about the project's harm to the community and to the environment
Analysis of Shabehnay's 1829 Title: an overview of the historical argument that there is no reservation
